We're finally seeing the sun again, after snowpocolypse and winter have taken over our city. It's nice to not have to carry or wear big winter coats right now. We are really enjoying the sunshine and runs out at the lake. It's hard to believe that it was snowing here just a week and a half ago! I know many other parts of the country (Iowa included) are still in the middle of winter, but you're always welcome to come visit!
We've been really busy and have some PA school updates to share. Nothing is definite, though, so we're still in the waiting phase. I think we have reached the edge of our limit in waiting, but somehow we are still hanging on!
- Adam got accepted to a PA school in Jacksonville! Hearing a "Yes" was a huge relief and so fun to celebrate. We went to Maggiano's for dinner that night, despite having a roast in the crock-pot. We decided we would have that the next night and go out instead. Definitely a more fun choice!
- Adam has been wait-listed at a great school here in Dallas. He's moved up from the 15% (top 6) to 10% (top 3) in just a week and a half, so there are some good chances he could get in here.
- We set a personal deadline of April 1, so if we don't hear from the Dallas school by then, we will move forward with the JAX school and make plans to move in May. It's all very exciting and a bit nerve-wracking knowing that we are so close to knowing where we will be, but still feeling so far out of reach from knowing what comes next.
I think you're up-to-date on that part of our lives now. We've had family celebrations, a ski trip, a trip to Knoxville for another school interview (wait-listed there, but they don't review the list until June, so that's out), and just living life.
